Program in detail

You will practice yoga in different places that embody the exotic and magical personality of the island. Places where the blue sky and the green of the land reign supreme. You will practice yoga on an open-air terrace overlooking the garden, places renovated with a refined taste that has maintained the green authenticity of the place, near the pool, in a zen garden, facing the sea and on a reef watching the timeless infinity.

Eat the delicious brunch offered by the hotel. And in your free time, you can take long walks on the beach or simply rest and digest while breathing in the fresh sea air or enjoying the landscapes and all the activities offered by the island.

09:00 Departure from the hotel and transfer to Campagnano to the meeting point.

From a geological point of view, this place is the oldest, perhaps the least known and certainly the most incredible on the island. The route begins by skirting the splendid Bay of Cartaromana at the bottom of which the remains of “Aenaria”, the submerged settlement from the Roman era, are still visible.

You continue along an agile path that skirts various ravines and gorges into which steep terraces of vines meet, supported by dry stone walls of black local lava (the “parracine”): an artificial landscape created by heroic farmers over hundreds of years.

You will cross the “Macchia Mediterranea” and a chestnut grove that will lead you to Monte Vezzi, a 392 m high volcanic cathedral, and on to the farming village of Piano Liguori, where time seems to have stopped at the beginning of the 1900s and you will enjoy the view of Punta San Pancrazio (156 m) with its characteristic church overlooking the sea.

Descend from the top and you will reach the “Scarrupata di Barano”, a high cliff overlooking the sea whose walls show interesting and evident examples of stratified volcanic materials (tuff, pumice, lapilli, white ash, trachytic rock) and from which you could enjoy one of the most beautiful and uncontaminated views of the “Green Island”. From this side you will be able to admire one of the few colonies in southern Italy of Corsican Seagull (Larusaudouinii).

You will stop to meditate with a Pranayama lesson (60 minutes) in front of the splendid scenery of the open sea overlooking Procida, Vivara, Capri and the Amalfi Coast. You will complete the trip with a return to Campagnano. Difficulty: excursion for all
